Make An Impact VERSES AI is in search of a dynamic technical writer capable of navigating the fast-paced environment of our cutting-edge research lab. Our team publishes groundbreaking scientific articles in fields such as Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Neuroscience and Mathematics. We seek an individual adept at translating highly specialized content into layman's terms across various platforms and formats (e.g., blog posts, website articles, social media messages). As the appointed expert, you will engage a diverse audience with revolutionary scientific and technological discoveries. In this role, you will collaborate with our Marketing, R&D and Product departments. The ideal candidate will efficiently prioritize content requests, actively engaging with stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration. Essential Functions- a/k/a/ Your Mission Translate ML and active inference research publications into blog posts and articles targeted to general consumption Collaborate extensively with R&D and Product departments to build content pipelines using several tools (Jira, spreadsheets, etc.) Design and author clear, concise, and structured press releases, video-based content, FAQs, for internal and external audiences Proactively identify product and research documentation needs (review, edit, and/or rewrite documentation) as well as ensure content quality Requirements Provable deep understanding of ML/AI concepts Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) with two years of technology-based technical writing, content creation, and/or documentation management experience Established ability to learn technical concepts quickly Strong command of the English language: an eye for detail, meticulous grammar, and proofreading skills Ability to self-manage day-to-day tasks with minimal guidance and deliver under tight deadlines Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects in a fast-paced, changing environment Great to Haves Master or higher degree or equivalent experience in computer science, neuroscience, or related field Strong familiarity with the current AI research debate Experience in a research environment SEO expertise Video editing software (Camtasia) Photo/graphic editing software (photoshop/illustrator) Screen capture software (e.g., Snagit, Skitch) Diagramming software (e.g., Lucidchart, Omnigraffle) Product documentation software (like Paligo) Benefits In addition to fostering a culture of highly engaged, emotionally intelligent, and energetic people we offer: Global virtual work environment (although some positions may need to operate within specific time zones) 100% Company paid medical, dental & vision benefits Financial and Mental Health wellness programs Responsible paid time off policy (RTO), sick time complying with all State and Federal guidelines, and of course...
