As an MRC team member, you'll analyze the threat landscape and drive improvements to our machine learning and behavioral protection capabilities. Where there is a gap, MRC takes action to improve our detection stance and protection story. There are many parts of CrowdStrike working towards protecting our customers and MRC works across all of them to ensure we are providing the best protection for the current threat landscape. Help us stop breaches with your expertise.About the Role:As the manager responsible for Adversarial Emulation in MRC, you will lead a team of offensive security experts responsible for finding new ways CrowdStrike can innovate to stop breaches. The successful candidate will be able to reason about the threat landscape both currently and in the future, identify gaps in CrowdStrike’s products, and drive solutions. This role is focused internally on improving the Falcon platform, rather than customer-facing, conducting external penetration tests, or consulting. What You’ll Do:Lead a geographically distributed team of offensive security experts across multiple security domains from endpoint to the cloud.Understand threat actor tradecraft and how best to approach emulation.Engage with teams across CrowdStrike to understand our existing gaps.Evaluate and measure the Falcon’s detection performance and collaborate with counterparts across CrowdStrike to improve the platform’s resilience.What You’ll Need:At least 10 years of cybersecurity, information security, threat research, or other relevant experience.Experience leading red teams, purple teams, penetration testing, or adversarial emulation.Comprehensive understanding of the security methodologies, technologies, and best practices.Experience with security assessment toolsets and C2 frameworks.Ability to grasp abstract problems and reason about solutions to solve them.Excellent analytical, collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.Experience delivering results working across multiple teams.Knowledge of the threat landscape and MITRE ATT&CK.Proficient in at least one high-level programming language (C++, C#, Go, Java, Python, Rust, etc).Bonus Points:Offensive security, cloud, or cyber defense certifications.Threat intelligence or threat detection and response experience.Data science or machine learning experience.Experience with blue teams or SOC.Experience collaborating with international teams.#LI-JP2#LI-RemoteBenefits of Working at CrowdStrike:Remote-first cultureMarket leader in compensation and equity awards with option to participate in ESPP in eligible countriesCompetitive vacation and flexible working arrangementsPhysical and mental wellness programs Paid parental leave, including adoption A variety of professional development and mentorship opportunitiesAccess to CrowdStrike University, LinkedIn Learning and JhannaOffices with stocked kitchens when you need to fuel innovation and collaborationBirthday time-off in your local countryWork with people who are passionate in our mission and Great Place to Work certified across the globeWe are committed to fostering a culture of belonging where everyone feels seen, heard, valued for who they are and empowered to succeed.
