Job Requisition ID #24WD74864Position OverviewAs a Sr. Accountant within the EMEA Shared Service Center (EMEA/LATAM) and Controller Organization you will be assigned a portfolio of legal entities for US/local GAAP accounting, annual statutory audit, annual local financial statements filing, tax accounting and supporting merger & acquisition integration and deregistration. You will be part of the team responsible for building and maintaining an efficient framework of operational accounting and statutory compliance. As an important member, you will work with the corporate accounting team, EMEA Tax, PTP, FBPs, external auditors, outsourced accounting firms and APAC counterparts.You will report to Finance Manager in Dublin.Lead the preparation/review/filing of local statutory financial statementsSupport or lead local statutory audit and tax requirementsSoordinate with outsourced accounting firms and other internal department management on statutory audit questions and financial statements requirements (Internal departments include Revenue Accounting, Payroll, PTP, FBP, Tax, and Legal)Provide technical support on current accounting standards (such as IFRS) and local statutory requirements that have an impact on accounting operationsAdvise on technical accounting regarding tax - accounting for CT/VATSupport external tax audits or investigationsAnalyze and explain permanent and temporary differences between US GAAP and Local GAAP in the US GAAP income tax accounting processFacilitate, follow up, and remediate weaknesses identified in statutory and tax auditsParticipate in the monthly US GAAP Close process tasks as assignedPrepare monthly/quarterly balance sheet reconciliations using BlacklineEnsure US GAAP, local financial reports, and tax returns are reconciled with appropriate accounting entries reflected in the accounting recording system (SAP)Minimum RequirementsYou must be qualified with 1 yrs experience and have formal accounting qualificationsExperience in financial accounting and statutory financial statement preparationShared Service environment is experience preferableUS GAAP experience in an international and multi-currency environment is preferableSAP experience an advantageOrganizational, team-work and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsWilling to work flexible hours as required for month-end close and financial reporting process#LI-MB1Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
