Renewals Intern

This is a full time, remote Summer Internship that can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada.Calix is looking for a Summer intern to join our Renewals team. In this role, you will be part of a unique and award-winning internship program within the company. We are a global company with a customer-centric culture and a passion for excellence.Responsibilities and Duties: As a Renewals Intern, you will be part of the Renewals organization at Calix, which is responsible for driving customer loyalty and retention, maximizing recurring revenue, and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will work closely with the Renewals Specialists and other internal teams to:Understand the overall concept of the company, including the brand, customers, product goals, and all other aspects of service.Review and research accounts, opportunities, and contracts.Prepare renewal and true up quotes, amendments, and proposals.Update and maintain accurate data and records of activities in Salesforce.Align with internal stakeholders though various communication methods.Accept designated, business-focus projects to research, propose ideas and solutions, and present final project during the internship.Provide feedback and suggestions to improve the process.Qualifications:To be successful in this role, you will need:Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.High attention to detail and accuracy.Understanding of Microsoft Office. Salesforce knowledge a plus!Ability to work for the complete summer break (May - August or June - September).Preference will be given to applicants who are currently in their Junior or Senior year of college.Compensation will vary based on geographical location (see below) within the United States. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's location of residence and multiple factors, including job-related skills, experience, and education (i.e. year in school).There are different ranges applied to specific locations.
