Your strategic leadership will be vital in navigating the global marketplace and representing Japan's innovation and cultural richness.Key Responsibilities:Strategically lead the Lifestyle category in the cross-border e-commerce market, promoting Japanese sellers and products internationally.Collaborate with global category managers to develop and implement innovative strategies that highlight the uniqueness of Japan's lifestyle products.Actively engage in account management, nurturing relationships with key sellers to enhance their global presence.Keep abreast of global market trends and consumer behaviors in cross-border e-commerce, leveraging these insights for category growth.Work with cross-functional teams to improve the visibility and performance of Japanese sellers and products in the international market.Cultivate a team environment that values innovation, collaboration, and deep appreciation for the nuances of Japanese lifestyle products.Qualifications:A bachelor's degree or higher in any field.A minimum of 5 years' experience in a commercial role with P&L responsibility, ideally in the online retail or technology industry.Fluent in both English and Japanese, with strong global communication skills.Strong interpersonal skills and a team player with a passion for promoting Japanese culture and products in the global e-commerce landscape.Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic international environment.Please note the followings when applying for eBay Japan's positions:We implement hybrid work: Employees are expected to work 3 days onsite and 2 days remote a week. For those who have preschool children could work 2 days onsite and 3 days remote a week under a condition.
