This person will be responsible for crafting safe, beautiful, and easy-to-use visual and audio guidance interfaces. The ideal candidate has an automotive background and perspectives on how emerging technologies influence the driver and passenger experiences. This role requires delivering high fidelity visual design as well as interactive motion prototypes. We’re looking for a senior product designer to reimagine how drivers and passengers get from A to B. This product designer will create user experiences for iOS, CarPlay, iPad OS, macOS, and watchOS. They will have strong communication skills as the position requires working closely with other designers, engineering, product marketing, and presenting to executive sponsors. Responsibilities of this position also include: creating detailed interaction and pixel specs; preparing assets for use in a variety of platforms: engineering implementation, Web use or Keynote presentations; maintaining up-to-date files and uniform naming conventions; ensuring design consistency across all assets and products. Above all, the role requires a dedicated individual who understands Apple’s high standards and design aesthetic to the core. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $170,700 and $300,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
