This position will be responsible for the evaluation, development, implementation and administration of employee compensation and benefits programs designed to attract, motivate, and retain employee talent in APAC. This role will also help ensure adherence with all applicable Human Resources related legal/regulatory and compliance requirements, as well as identify risk and implement plans to mitigate loss and protect the company.Responsibilities:Leads and manages the APAC C&B team directly.Analyzes compensation and benefits programs and develops plans to implement those which support business goals and objectives, are geographically appropriate, and ensure internal equity and external competitivenessConducts country benefits review to maintain market competitiveness and compliance as appropriateDevelops C&B programs that are aligned to Illumina C&B philosophy which differentiates for competitiveness in areas of growth and opportunitiesActs as liaison and vendor manager for third party compensation and benefits providers and consultantsIdentifies emerging country or regulatory, tax, and workforce issues related to compensation and benefits and develops innovative solutions to addressEnsures all compensation and benefits plans and processes are documented and administered in accordance with external regulations and internal requirementsProvides training and consultation to Human Resources colleagues and business managers on the appropriate utilization of compensation and benefits programsSupports the implementation of corporate compensation and benefits programs in APAC including but not limited to salary increases, short-term and long-term incentives, medical, retirement and supplemental benefit programsServes as a member of the global Total Rewards team and provides regional insights to the global team for alignment on philosophy and best practicesWorks closely with HRBPs in stakeholder managementAny other ad hoc projects and duties assigned from time to time.Listed responsibilities are an essential, but not exhaustive list, of the usual duties associated with the position. Changes to individual responsibilities may occur due to business needs.Requirements:Preferred Educational Background:Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Human Resources or related fieldPreferred Experiential Background:10-15 years of experience in Human Resources, with an emphasis and progressive responsibility in compensation and benefitsProven experience in designing and implementing compensation and benefits programs and processes tied to business objectives in multiple Asia Pacific countries. Candidates with experience covering Turkey, Middle East & Africa regions will be advantageous.
