The qualified candidate will have proven experience in AutoCAD with a focus on building facilities systems and will be able to produce detailed drawings as well as support the growing drawing management program.Duties Utilize computer software including AutoCAD, AutoCAD MEP, Revit, Navisworks, and others to develop CAD drawings and other deliverables for both design and as-built packages.Work with contractor and vendor provided redlines to edit and correct AutoCAD and Revit models and paper space layouts.Perform field verification of existing components and produce quality field notes. (Including isometric sketches).Work with engineers and provide CAD assistance for project deliverables.Work closely with other disciplines to ensure continuity of design.Perform self-checks and adhere to all company standards.Communicate adequately to supervisors on work progress, identify roadblocks, and troubleshoot issues as needed.Ownership of all drawing consistency, thoroughness, and accuracy.Review of drawings produced by others for errors or omissionsConduct independent design of components fixtures, tooling, and in-house test equipment using CADAnalyze problems on existing designs and provide innovative design solutionsPerforms other duties as assignedAll listed tasks and responsibilities are deemed as essential functions to this position; however, business conditions may require reasonable accommodations for additional task and responsibilitiesRequirements5 years experience with CAD Designer with MEP and Facilities.Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit.Excellent design/drawing skills utilizing 3D modeling design and drafting software, SolidWorks required.Prior work experience within the industrial, regulated industry and Life Science. industries.Ability to read P&IDs and piping specifications.Ability to complete site and system walkdowns for drawing accuracy.Familiarity with industry standards such as ANSI, ASME, ASTM, API, etc.Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.Ability to work in a team environment.Experience with Teamcenter PLM drawing management.Preferred QualificationsAssociate degree, bachelor’s degree, or diploma in Computer-Aided Design (CAD), Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field not required but is a plus.Prior experienced in Construction or Facilities.Experience in Microsoft Suite and SAP ProductsListed responsibilities are an essential, but not exhaustive list, of the usual duties associated with the position. Changes to individual responsibilities may occur due to business needs.The estimated base hourly range for the AutoCAD Technician role based in the United States of America is: $32.21 - $48.36. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable base pay range may be updated accordingly. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
