We realize that new ideas can come from everywhere in the organization, and we know the next big idea could be yours!The OpportunityThe Chief Accounting Officer’s Operations Leader (CAO Ops Lead) position is a critical and trusted leadership role as the strategic right-hand person to the CAO. You will help drive strategic business planning, support organization-wide communications, and drive critical organization-wide initiatives while building and maintaining key relationships across Finance, Adobe and key external partners. This role will be the senior project leader, representing the CAO organization throughout the critical initiative to implement Adobe’s new S4/Hana ERP.What You’ll DoServe as a trusted advisor and brainstorming partner to the Chief Accounting Officer and their leadership team.Oversee the successful management and execution of Adobe’s S4/Hana ERP implementation project, including adherence to scope, planning timeline, and budget, and proactively communicating and act on any anticipated changes, issues, risks, or delays.Act as 'Air-Traffic Controller' for the CAO, leading daily CAO operations, making organizational changes and assisting in communicating strategy and decision-making.Work with leadership to deliver, monitor, and communicate progress on company goals and metrics aligned with CAO organization.Exercise risk and issue management by identifying potential constraints based on activities and timeframes and lead an effort to identify appropriate solutions to mitigate the impact on the project.Build connections across all levels of Adobe, from E-Team through entry-level staff.Support CAO in the preparation of board, executive committees, all hands and various presentations.Collaborate with the CAO leadership team, CFO leadership and cross-functional partners to track, analyze and report performance per SLAs, KPIs, project goals, and change initiatives, as needed.Proactively raise and resolve pressing issues by calling them to the attention of the CAO and identifying solutions.Continue to enhance transparency on performance and progress.What You Need to Succeed12+ years working with finance teams managing projects and staff.Broad finance and business experience driving execution and adoption of key strategic programs across large teams.A track record in leading and delivering complex large-scale projects and partnerships, often managing a range of internal and external partners.Excellent interpersonal verbal, written and presentation communication skills.Proven record of developing and leading implementation of communications strategy, policy and operational plans to a successful outcome across a medium or large organization.Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with an ability to handle multiple challenging priorities and projects with minimal direction, and problem-solving skills with a focus on structure and execution.A history of finding new insights, accepting new challenges, leading with empathy and “can do” positive attitude.Skilled at people management, with a dedication to excellence and mentorship.Able to lead strong personalities and drive open items to effective resolution.Adapt and operate in a fast-paced and evolving environment and lead through ambiguity.Able to think and act creatively, championing and promoting new ideas that contribute to the goals of the CAO.Work in a flexible manner in line with the organization’s objectives and willingness to undertake other duties as reasonably requested.Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $152,400 -- $333,400 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
