What This Role Is Our Talent, Learning and Employee Experience team is strategically focused on strengthening organizational capability and cultivating engaged teams to strengthen a high-performance culture. Succession management is a strategic priority at Genesys. Our succession management framework is focused on three core priorities: building an organically diverse talent pool, accelerating the readiness of our successor candidates, and amplifying the visibility of our talent across the organization. As a Senior Talent Management Specialist, you will contribute to the evolution our succession management framework and support the execution of our annual succession planning process and talent reviews. This role will also help monitor the development actions and support the design of our successor candidate development programs to ensure we are accelerating the readiness of our most important talent pool. You will work globally, on cross-functional teams (within HR and with our business leaders) to deliver on our succession priorities. You’ll report to the Talent & Organizational Development Director and be part of a highly collaborative team, benefiting from the mentorship and support of more senior team members. Some Details About What You’ll Do This past fiscal year was a great year of succession planning, now we are ready to go deeper into the organization and offer targeted programmatic experiences to help accelerate our successor candidate's readiness. Enables and prepares our key stakeholders through the succession cycle (HRBPs and Business Leaders). Enables key stakeholders to understand the importance of succession and what is expected of them throughout the process. Prepares training and enablement for key stakeholders, in addition to facilitation collateral for Talent Review discussions. Debriefs with HRBPs after Talent Review to ensure decisions around talent and development actions are captured and making progress. Creates and deliver impactful presentations and communications, that reinforce our succession management story to drive the right mindset, adoption, inspiration, and action. Conducts regular analysis to generate insights related to parallel processes and workstreams (i.e. Leadership Development, Employee Experience, Career Development, Attrition, Talent Acquisition) to inform future improvements or solution needs. Partners with our People Analytics team to review progress and report out on our succession KPIs. Also, recommends opportunities to evolve our dashboard and reporting capabilities. Partners with our Leadership Development team to ensure our successor candidate development needs are being met through our programmatic initiatives. Supports partnership with Talent Acquisition team to ensure succession plans are being considered and leveraged for filling our most critical roles. Supports the execution of parallel initiatives or projects that enable successor readiness such as Coaching and Successor Readiness Programs. Supports stakeholders in driving data hygiene of succession information within Workday. Desired Skills and Experience Approximately 5-7 years of experience in Talent, OD, Human Capital, HR Consulting or as an HRBP with exposure to Talent Management. Experience in fast-pace high-growth environment preferably in global tech, undergoing significant transformation. Experience being a key contributor of a major initiative in one or more of the following areas: succession management, career development, or leadership development. Experience with administering HR-related technology (preferably Workday). Demonstrated relationship building skills with multiple HR and business stakeholders. Leverages data to provide clear communication to influence and enhance relationships. Adept at problem-solving and critical thinking to overcome challenges. Experience in working in English (spoken, written), across different time zones and cultures.
