We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our team in Jerusalem. This is an amazing opportunity to work on Exlibris Library Solutions. The team consists of 5 people and is reporting to a Team Leader. We have a great skill set in Java and we would love to speak with you if you have skills in Object-Oriented development with Java. About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments Qualified candidates must have: • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field • 2+ years of experience in similar roles • 2+ years of experience with multiple programming languages • 2+ years of Object-Oriented development with Java • 2+ years of experience with Oracle PL/SQL • 2+ years of experience with relational databases – required It would be great if you also had . . . • Master’s degree in computer science or related field • Knowledge and experience with search engines (Solr), REST, Spring, Hibernate, and Tomcat technologies • Experience with Linux/Unix environments • Experience with scripting (Bash) Regex and automation What will you be doing in this role? The Developer’s job includes understanding the requirements defined by the product owner (business analyst), designing, implementing a technical solution, and facilitating testing and rollout of the feature. The work includes bug fixes, performance, stability, and long-term maintenance tasks, communicating with other teams, product owners, and our support analysts. The product you will be developing The developer will be a member of the Rosetta on the HEP team, which is part of Exlibris Library Solutions. About the Team The team is a team of 5 team members.
