We are looking for an Account Manager to join our intellectual property sales team. If you’re experienced in maintaining successful client relationships, with a track record in achieving financial targets, and providing invaluable cross-functional perspective on product and process improvements to the client experience, we would love to speak with you!About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments  Bachelor’s DegreeMinimum of 4 years sales experience in a business-to-business sales environment.Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce.com).Proven track record of account management capability:Developing accounts through proactive account reviews and prospecting.Deep discovery to understand customer workflow and content needs.Adept at cultivating strong customer relationships.Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multi-stage sales processes.Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation and time management skills.It would be great if you are . . .  Business intelligence or SAAS sales experience in the IP (patents and/or trade marks) industry.Understanding of consultative selling and strategic account management.Collaborative in approach and able to work well in a matrix environment.Assimilates new information quickly and able to apply this knowledge to increase sales.Flexible and adaptable with a strong desire to learn and develop. What will you be doing in this role? Support and develop sales opportunities both independently and in collaboration with a team.Utilise domain expertise to conceive and position value-added solutions.Cultivate strong customer relationships creating confidence with senior stakeholders to become a trusted advisor to our customers.Work in alignment with sales team members and solution consultants, to contribute to territory planning and maximise Clarivate’s exposure within our customers.Diligent management of opportunities in CRM (Salesforce) ensuring all information is up to date at all times.Contribute to and produce reports, including outlining current and proposed activities, sales forecasts and closing timetables.Work with sales enablement, marketing and other commercial teams to develop and execute sales campaigns and lead generation activitiesPro-actively acquire and develop relevant market, industry and product knowledge and skills to support commercial success.About the Team   In the IP division, accelerating innovation is at the core of what we do.
