The Director of Revenue Operations will partner internally and externally to deliver accurate revenue forecasts, revenue reporting, monitor company performance, and utilize data analytics to derive actionable insights. The team member will evaluate and implement tools and processes to achieve business goals while collaborating across the organization. The optimal candidate will be deeply informed about industry trends and will leverage market research in our rapidly changing space.
Responsibilities
Revenue Forecasting:
Develop and maintain accurate revenue forecasts through in-depth analysis of historical data and market trends.
Provide revenue guidance and execution to deliver guidance numbers.
Collaborate with sales and marketing, operations and finance teams to gather insights and input for forecasting purposes.
Review, create and maintain thorough processes tied to accurate revenue reporting across relevant teams.
Company Performance Analysis:
Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Provide regular reports and insights to leadership regarding product line, operational and sales performance.
Generate dashboards and robust key metric reports.
Data Analysis:
Utilize data analytics tools to extract meaningful insights from sales data.
Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis to improve revenue generation and sales performance.
Systems and Tools:
Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of advanced forecasting tools and systems to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Consistently evaluate and expand system functionality to meet the needs of various groups within the company.
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
Work closely with finance, marketing, and product teams to align revenue goals with overall business objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement strategies impacting revenue generation.
Facilitate processes between finance and Customer Operations to streamline compliance and revenue reporting activities
Market Research:
Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
Utilize market research to adapt revenue strategies to changing conditions.
Performance Metrics and KPIs:
Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to revenue and sales performance.
Regularly report on KPIs to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
10+ years proven experience in revenue management at a public company.
Semiconductor experience a plus but not required.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Familiarity with financial and sales systems/technology.
Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and drive revenue growth.
