These realtime domains will help Apple users to get the latest weather information, ask for the latest score of their favorite game, look for the arrival time of a friend's flight and check the latest stock market prices. Whether they're asking Siri for the score of the Seahawks game, looking up the stock prices in Spotlight, or getting the latest weather information in Safari, users rely on us for quick and easy updates on these domains. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications You have experience writing high-performance server software on Linux/Unix You want to deliver innovative new products to our users, and can design and build the systems to support them You are proficient in two of following languages: C/C++, Go, Python, Java, Scala You have experience building reverse indexes for databases or retrieval systems You have experience with RESTful services and supporting production environments We partner with a variety of multi-functional teams across the company You will need excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively Description Description As a member of our dynamic group, you’ll have the rare and rewarding opportunity to craft upcoming products from Apple. We are looking for people with experience in building rich search experience powered by sophisticated, high- performance search indexes and data ingestion pipelines. The Siri Search team is bringing together domain experts from a diverse array of fields such as machine learning, distributed systems, natural language processing, user interface, and software engineering. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $131,500 and $243,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
