Apple’s Central Finance team is looking for a highly motivated contributor who doesn’t shy away from asking the hard questions and making impactful changes. This role offers unique exposure to (a) financials and related data associated with Apple’s core products and services and (b) many teams across Apple’s finance, data analytics, engineering, legal, and other departments. This role has a high degree of ownership over processes across multiple domains.
This role’s primary responsibility includes supporting Apple’s legal teams including Competition Law, Patent Litigation, Commercial Litigation, Trademark, and Transactions by extracting, analyzing, understanding, and speaking to relevant data associated with Apple’s products and services in a timely and accurate manner. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications 3 or more years of finance or related experience required (e.g., financial and valuation consulting, litigation / damages consulting, corporate finance, external reporting, etc.). Thorough understanding of accounting and financial analysis and strong analytical / problem solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to articulate complex financial concepts and describe data in simple business terms. Strong data management skills, using both spreadsheets and databases. Experience with complex spreadsheets required. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to take ownership of processes, including introducing automation and other workflow improvements. Proficient in working with cross-functional teams across different levels of management. Strong prioritization skills with a proven track record of successfully and simultaneously managing multiple complex projects while under pressure and meeting critical deadlines. Familiarity with litigation processes, competition related matters, external financial reporting, and/or compliance is a plus. Familiarity with common financial and related systems such as SAP, Business Objects, and Tableau preferred. Description Description The Central Finance team collaborates closely with Apple’s Legal teams to provide and speak to Apple’s financials and related data associated with its core products and services. In this role, you will:
Develop a strong understanding of Apple’s financial systems.
Work directly with Apple’s Legal teams to understand and fulfil financial related requests, which involve high profile cases.
Work directly with Apple’s various finance teams, data analytics teams, engineering teams, among others to identify, understand, and provide data requested by the Legal teams.
Present financial related data in a clear and understandable manner, visually and verbally, and across different levels of management.
Refine existing processes for gathering, analyzing, and producing data, as well as creating new processes and systems as needs change.
Perform detailed internal and external research of economic and financial issues. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $131,300 and $197,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
