Non-CA Pay Range (Annual):$143,600.00 - $266,800.00At Infinera, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. Your actual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. This role may be eligible for equity grants, discretionary bonuses, or commission payments. The amount of these incentives is based on the terms of the Company’s incentive plans, the Company’s financial performance, and/or individual employee job performance.Infinera also offers paid leave, medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k), life, and disability insurance and toeligible employees.ResponsibilitiesCoordinates, oversees and reviews quarterly and annual domestic and consolidated financial reporting for income tax including ASC 740 calculations and SEC reportingProvides day-to-day oversight for the preparation of all direct tax returnsCoordinates, oversees and reviews Federal, State income tax returns and meets all internal and external timelinesOversees tax forecasting activities and ensures appropriate tracking of uncertain tax positionsEnsures that the corporation maintains up-to-date tax expertise and awareness of federal and state laws and their impactActively makes recommendations and suggests alternatives for protecting corporate resources and implements appropriate internal controls relating to income taxes and related reportingProactively, and as requested, prepares and/or presents presentations to a variety of stakeholders on key tax issue developments that impact InfineraSupports tax and financial statement auditsEffectively manages relationships and deadlines with internal team, external auditors and oversee the work of third-party service providers, taking into account budget and time constraintsEnsures all issues and research conclusions are adequately documented in tax memosDevelops, coaches, and mentors staffAssists with other tax department tasks and critical projects, as necessary Minimum RequirementsA bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably with an emphasis in accountingCPA preferred.10+ years’ experience with tax accounting, planning, research, and compliance4+ years’ managing multiple, direct reports.Experience with tax provisions and SOX experience in documentation and disclosureAdditional Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesPositive, self-motivated and can-do personality – growth mindset essentialVery organized and strong verbal and written communication.Ability to manage multiple projects while working under pressure and with time constraints.#LI-DW1#LI-HybridInfinera is an equal opportunity employer.
