Software Engineer

NVIDIA is looking for a passionate member to join our Opensm and IBtools verification team as a Software Engineer. In this role you will learn a new computer-networking communications standard "Infiniband", and you will be part of the development process of IB networks simulator. You will also work on verifying the integrity, validity, and the health of two important entities for IB networks: Subnet Manager that is required for configuring Infiniband networks, and IB tools that are capable of scanning and extracting information regarding fabric devices.What you will be doing: Participate in changing the future of HPC.Simulate the IB fabric behavior using C++.Implement tests using python.Develop and enhance both simulation and testing environment.Debug HW simulator and tests to be able to report and even solve bugs to guarantee the quality of the products.What we need to see:B.Sc. in computer science or SW/Computer Engineering or equivalent experience0-3 years of experience.Good understanding of data structures and OOP.Excellent problem-solving skills.Good communication skills.Team worker, knowledge seeker, collaborative, and creative.Basic knowledge of networking concepts.Ways to stand out from the crowd:Familiar with the Linux operating system and knowledge of shell scripting.Any previous experience in Python, C/C++.Awareness of the software development process.NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
