This is a full time, remote Summer Internship that can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada. Calix is looking for a Summer intern to join our Center of Excellence (COE). In this role, you will be part of a unique and award-winning internship program within the company. The program provides the opportunity to learn new skills through training and on-the-job learning.The Transformation Program team is seeking a strategic thinker, team player, and self-motivated problem solver to join our team for the summer. The Project Coordinator Intern is responsible for supporting the program management team in the planning, execution, and tracking of projects. They work under the direction of a Program Manager to assist with project tasks such as scheduling, document management, data entry, and project tracking. The duration of the program is expected to be 90 days.Responsibilities and Duties: Assist with the development and maintenance of project plans, & schedule.Coordinate project activities, including meetings, and project deliverables.Help maintain project documentation and project tracking systems.Provide administrative support to the project team.Perform data entry and maintain project databases.Communicate project status and escalate issues as needed.Help create and maintain project reports and presentations.Qualifications:Strong organizational and time-management skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.Strong skills in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Familiarity with project management software and tools is a plus.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Positive attitude, self-motivated and willingness to learn.Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.Pursuing a Bachelor's degree with a current cumulative GPA is 3.0 or higher.Ability to work for the complete summer break (May - August or June - September).Preference will be given to applicants who are currently in their Junior or Senior year of college.Compensation will vary based on geographical location (see below) within the United States. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's location of residence and multiple factors, including job-related skills, experience, and education (i.e. year in school).There are different ranges applied to specific locations.
