Machine Learning Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled, expert and creative Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our team. In this position you will be responsible for designing and developing machine learning systems, which involves assessing and organising data, executing tests and experiments, and generally monitoring and optimising machine learning processes to help develop strong performing machine learning systems. You will collaborate closely with multi-functional teams including managers, developers, business analysts and data scientists to deliver products and services that leverage machine learning techniques.Key Responsibilities:Designing, developing, and researching Machine Learning systems, modelsStudying, transforming, and converting data science prototypesSearching and selecting appropriate data sets before performing data collection and data modelingPerforming statistical analysis and using results to improve modelsTraining and retraining machine learning systems and models as needed, monitor quality of the models in productionIdentifying differences in data distribution that could affect model performance in real-world situationsVisualising data for deeper insightsAnalysing the use cases of machine learning algorithms and ranking them by their success probabilityEnriching existing machine learning frameworks and librariesVerifying data quality and/or ensuring it via data cleaningRequirements:Proven experience in building machine learning models in computer vision or natural language processing related fieldsExperience in modern ML tooling related to experiment management, containerisation, orchestration, processing pipelines and data version controlExperience in bringing ML models in production, monitoring and maintaining them throughout their entire life cycle. Familiarity with DevOps and MLOps culturesProficient in Python for scripting and data manipulation tasks and software development standard processesProficient in SQL for querying and managing databasesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsFluent spoken and written EnglishPreferred Competencies:Proven track record in leading cross-functional teams and collaborating effectively with partners at different levels of the organizationExperience with PyTorch, Google Cloud, Kubeflow, AirFlow, ElasticSearchA coaching & knowledge sharing attitudeExperience in working with crowdsourcing approaches for collecting datasetsExperience in mentoring junior positions and collaboration with data analytics or data engineers on the projectsExperience in working remotelyBenefits are an essential part of your total compensation for the work you do every day.
