Audio Firmware Engineer (HyperX)Description -We are seeking for a talent who will join HyperX team to create audio product such as Headphones, Microphones, HID devices for Gaming market. Work with internal design team and cooperate with external suppliers to develop the new product design through into mass production, to lead and create more fantastic product to the world.Responsibilities: Firmware project management & communicationGenerate Firmware requirement and comand protocolsDevelop firmware on various audio productsDevelop and maintain USB audio codecs utilizing UAC 1.0 or UAC 2.0Define firmware specification, command set protocols, and development timeline for audio products.Develop and maintain advanced audio signal process algorithmsDevelop and maintain advanced audio data compression algorithmsUnit Test firmware to ensure functions meet expectationsOptimize functions and processes to maintain steady performanceEnsure DSP can meet maximum performance when nearly at full loadBasic Qualifications: Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsExtensive experience working with various Codecs and DSP ASICsWell experienced with various interface protocols (e.g. USB, UART, I2S, SPI, I2C)Experience developing audio algorithms on MCUs or SoCs ranging from basic high-pass filter to advanced HRTFsIn-depth knowledge of digital signal processing with different types transforms and filter designsExperience developing firmware for USB HID devices.Equip with in-house development skillsetPreferred Qualifications: Sharp and fast learner that is able to pick up different systems for various DSPs and SoCsExperience with board-level debugging on various interfaces (e.g. I2S, I2C, SPI)Experience with Bluetooth Audio on SoCsExperience with wireless protocols for audio streamingWorking experiences in ODM or IC component suppliersLove Gaming!Education and Experience Required: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent preferredMinimum 3 year experience.#LI-POSTJob -SoftwareSchedule -Full timeShift -No shift premium (Taiwan)Travel -Relocation -EEO Tagline - HP Inc. is EEO F/M/Protected Veteran/ Individual with Disabilities.
