Education Program ManagerDescription -The education sector is undergoing a period of profound change that is catalyzing innovation and transformation. Half of us will need to reskill in the next five years, as the "double-disruption" of the economic impacts of the pandemic and increasing automation transforming jobs takes hold, per a report by the World Economic Forum.The HP commercial organization has curated a suite of capacity building and future skilling programs that address the transformation needs of education stakeholders and ministries, and help create an outcome based selling model; HP IDEA, HP Cambridge EdTech Fellowship, HP Gaming Garage, HP Classeasy, HP Futures and the World Education Medals amongst others.We are now looking for an education evangelist and program management expert to support the growth of the education programs.BriefApplies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients. Exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. May provide mentoring and guidance to lower level employees.ResponsibilitiesFormulate, organize and monitor / provide governance on inter-connected projects (HP IDEA, HP Gaming Garage, HP Classeasy)Decide on suitable implementation plans and objectivesCoordinate cross-project activitiesDevelop and control deadlines, budgets and activitiesApply change, risk and resource managementSupport management of the program’s people and vendor relationshipsAssess program performance and aim to maximize ROIResolve project related issuesPrepare reports on program progressRequirements and skillsBSc/BA diploma in management or a relevant fieldProven experience as a Program Manager or other similar managerial positionGood understanding of project/program management techniques and methodsKnowledge of performance evaluation and change management principlesExcellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software (Basecamp, MS Project etc.) is a strong advantageOutstanding leadership and organizational skillsExcellent communication skillsExcellent problem-solving abilityInfluencing and EQ skillsExperience collaborating across geographiesSales and services entityJob -Business PlanningSchedule -Full timeShift -No shift premium (Spain)Travel -Relocation -EEO Tagline - HP Inc. is EEO F/M/Protected Veteran/ Individual with Disabilities.
