Our Ways of Working
We have team members located across the United States spanning multiple time zones. This means we put in extra effort to make sure we connect and collaborate in ways that make sense for us. We know how valuable the flexibility of remote work is for our employees.
We know that personal connection is the foundation for the great work we do together. In order to build those relationships with team members in other cities, we meet with coworkers in person two times a year at a full company offsite and a departmental offsite. These offsites are expected of employees and are great opportunities to meet the people you work with every day and to do some of the work that is much more difficult to do virtually.
What the Role Is
Babylist is looking for a Finance Manager, Revenue and Growth, to lead the development of forecasting models, reporting materials, and ad-hoc strategic projects that support the continued growth of Babylist. This role will be at the forefront of analyzing new business opportunities as the Company expands into new markets. The new Revenue Manager will work closely with Marketing, Data & Analytics, and Product to understand not only past drivers of growth but the future growth of Babylist. In addition, the Finance Manager will be the finance lead for our new line of business, Babylist Health.
Who You Are
You have 7+ years of experience
You are highly analytical, detail-oriented, and constantly seeking to understand the "why" of any business trend
You have advanced understanding of modeling, reporting, and corporate financial planning
You have excellent communicator (written and verbal); and a pro at collaborating constructively with, and influencing, business partners
You have a preferred understanding of cohort analysis
You have the ability to context switch, being able to constantly switch gears and understand new business models
You are motivated to achieve results in a fast-paced, growing, and ambiguous environment
You are able to manipulate large data sets, uncover hidden insights in our data, and meaningfully improve our understanding of our business through this process
You have SQL experience, preferred but not required
How You Will Make An Impact
Lead the development and maintenance of complex bottom-up revenue and LTV forecasting models, using historical cohort data
Improving predictive accuracy and uncovering business insights to drive new business initiatives
You will partner closely with our Babylist Health line of business to understand cohorts and how the business ties back to our core registry
Develop financial models and operational processes, including monthly, quarterly, and annual FP&A processes as well as long-term financial modeling
Build critical Executive and Board of Directors presentation materials on business performance and strategic business decisions
Partner with cross-functional business leaders across the company to provide actionable business insights and recommendations from financial data
Perform financial modeling and analysis for ad hoc strategic projects to empower the business to make data-driven decisions
Manage the development and integration of incremental models and KPIs as we expand the business
Work with the Data team to build dashboards to automate the maintenance of models and KPIs

Babylist takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.
The estimated pay range for this role is $100,015.00 - $150,230.00
In addition, Babylist offers equity, bonus, and benefits, including company paid health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies.
