Job Requisition ID #24WD74781Position OverviewThe Strategic Territory Sales Representative creates new and expansion business in Strategic Territory accounts to meet financial and our goals. This job is assigned a sales quota and performance is measured by meeting or exceedingly quarterly and annual targets within a defined list of accounts. You will report to a Territory Hub Sales Leader and will integrate with a sales team that includes customer success specialists, partners, technical sales, client services, and marketing, to grow within their assigned accounts through new, cross-sell and upsell opportunities. This is a remote position.ResponsibilitiesGrow new and expansion business within list of strategic territory accounts that focuses on solid business value for customers and Autodesk longer termFocus on Architecture, Engineering & Construction customers with goal to expand AEC footprint as well as introducing additional products from our AEC and , D&M, and M&E industriesBuild strong relationships and collaborate effectively with other Autodesk sales teams and channel partners, to grow the business relationship with assigned customersWorks closely with channel partners, technical sales, customer success, marketing and the field sales teams to develop and execute account plans for high priority accountsEvaluates the customer profile, creating value messaging, and targeting key steps needed to execute the account plansFosters important and effective relationships within the account including Key Decision Makers and translates customer challenges and opportunities into unique business valueWork through organizations at all levels to seek sponsorship, including C-Level, as requiredFinancially astute, experienced in ROI sales methodologies, value selling and positioning valueCollaborate with the customer success teams on appropriate and complimentary sales motions for the renewal business within their assigned accountsNegotiate deals and contracts at different levels within the targeted account either with or on the behalf of channel partnersMinimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree or equivalent experience5+ years' quota-carrying sales experience to include selling complex technology solutions, Account-based selling and large multi-solution, expansion dealsExperience in success: exceeding quota in a structured, disciplined, sales environment that includes strategic and collaborative/team sellingMultiple product portfolios and the manufacturing industry. Experience engaging with executive-level partners to influence strategic outcomesStrategic account planning and research to understand how Autodesk solutions align to our goalsAccurately forecast and reporting on account activityHighly proficient in Salesforce.comExperience using consultative sales methodology techniques like Challenger SellingExperience selling with channel partners for business planning with the partner management teamManage difficult situations while remaining upbeat and positive#LI-LR2Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based sales roles, we expect a starting On-Target Earnings (OTE) between $131,300 and $189,970. OTE is comprised of base salary plus commission target for sales roles. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location and may exceed this range.
