Job Requisition ID #23WD74325Position OverviewThe Research Engineering team at Autodesk Research is looking for a dedicated and passionate research intern for 2024 at our London office. This will be a hybrid position and a home-based candidate with an occasional commute to the London office is also acceptable. The ideal intern will conduct research and development at the intersection of numerical simulation, generative design, and large language models. The project aims to create next generation of generative design tools applied to the manufacturing industry.Responsibilities:You will collaborate with Researchers and Engineers to create new generative design solutions.You will write APIs and connect existing solvers, large language models, and geometric design tools for optimization.You will build prototypes and software components related to design and optimization of mechanical assemblies.Minimum Qualification:You are currently enrolled as an active student in an academic degree course.Predicted First or upper-second class degree in Computer Science, Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Science and Engineering, Civil Engineering, or other related disciplines.You have experience with programming languages and libraries (preferably C++).You have experience in Engineering design of Mechanical components, numerical simulation.#LI-HY1Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
