Job Requisition ID #24WD74617Position OverviewThe Autodesk Platform Services and Emerging Technologies organization is seeking an experienced communications professional and storyteller to join our internal communications team. You will support multiple divisions within the organization developing effective communication strategies. You will help us realize our mission through strategic thinking, communications expertise, and creativity.You will help us build internal brand awareness, gauge partner engagement, and rally teams behind a unified voice. You will report to the CTO Chief of Staff and help the leadership teams educate employees across the company about our priorities through compelling speeches, presentations, meetings, videos, and written communications. You have experience working within technology groups or for a global technology company.Preferably, this role will be hybrid, within a commutable distance to one of our offices.ResponsibilitiesDevelop an internal communications strategy for two teams, manage cadence, and create content to help us and our partners stay informed and armed with the right informationWork directly with the Chiefs of Staff within the assigned divisions as well as the main subject matter experts to develop narrative arcs and create content, such as presentations and talksHelp the assigned organizations find their unique and unified voices, establish their brands and market themselves to our stakeholdersImprove Quarterly Divisions' All Hands agenda, content, slide design, and orchestration of meetingCreate and manage specific programs that help assigned divisions communicate effectivelyDrive the maintenance of our internal SharePoint sites and development of new pages to support program needsManage and maintain internal communication and collaboration channels – including email aliases, Slack channels, and TeamsUse and develop creative ways to communicate effectively to reach employees and keep them informed and engagedMinimum QualificationsUnderstanding of Autodesk's business and industries; experience in technical operations or engineering a plusStrong attention to detail and project management skillsFlexible, proactive, and ensures quality and accuracyStoryteller with the ability to create compelling narratives to support our business strategiesPractice with change management strategies and gaining support through engagementProficient at helping technical teams communicate and market programs to consumers of varying technical aptitudeHighly organized with the ability to prioritize across multiple teams and excel in a cross-functional environmentExperience developing and executing internal communications strategies, plans, programs, and eventsAbility to influence without authority across departments, geographies and levels, and the ability to work with multiple departments and teams to lead understanding and collaborationPowerPoint and SharePoint experience; Airtable skills a plus5+ years of experience in program management, public relations, or employee communicationsBachelor's degree preferred in business, communications or journalismExcellent verbal and written communications skillsLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $76,400 and $131,780. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
