Head of Brand & Marketing, Fashion categories - parental cover12 month fixed term contract - starting February 2024The roleWe are looking for a customer obsessed Head of Brand and Marketing, Fashion and Recommerce for the UK market to come on as 12 months parental cover. This leader will partner with cross-functional teams across our matrixed organisation to create and drive strategies for UK initiatives related to fashion and Recommerce, focusing and completing customer growth through full funnel marketing across all paid channels.This role involves working closely with partners across Global Markets, Customer Insights, Product and Comms organisations. Given the multi-dimensional nature of the role, this leader should possess an obsession for the customer, an interest in fashion and a combination of skills across business strategy, partner success and collaboration.Key areas of responsibilityChampioning customer centricity in the brand strategy and ongoing activity for key verticalsStrategically run overall paid marketing budget for Fashion and Recommerce categories in partnership with the UK Media LeadProducing incredible creative / content with singular focus to give people reason to use eBay, and to learn new things about our brandDeveloping and delivering always on activity to support master brand and critical initiativesPartner on paid and organic social strategy and activity for fashion and Recommerce categoriesFocus on delivering relevant activity for our UK customer- target, messaging and channels while also partnering closely with your global counterparts to define areas of efficiency and shared activity.Identify and address improvement opportunities, demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous improvement; build a deep understanding of customer needs and difficulties, conduct competitive assessments, develop cases.Coach and develop talent across the team, building culture, setting goals, establishing standards, and achieving outcomes.Requirements7+ years of leadership experience in marketing; 10+ years of marketing Demonstrated leadership experience driving complex, cross-functional initiativesAbility to juggle, prioritise and meet deadlines in a rapidly changing, fast paced and ambiguous environment.Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation. Including global marketing teams and a roster of agency partners Experience with online and marketplace retail environments. Experience in Fashion categories preferred. Experience leading social and digital first activations and non-traditional media channels Excellent budget management skills and comfortable with large budgets Don’t meet every single requirement?
