Adobe’s Legal, Security, and Policy team is looking for a dynamic candidate with software development knowledge to join our team as an Intern. In this role, you will partner with the Engineering and Security teams to develop applications and processes that will impact teams across Adobe. What You’ll Do The Adobe Cyber Security internship is a program designed specifically for students looking to enrich their skills and experience by being a part of this innovative program. Adobe wants to provide a unique avenue for cybersecurity students to get the development they need for a future career in this exciting area. This program features a two-part internship: Students will participate in a 5-week virtual part-time internship in the spring, then return to Adobe in the summer to complete a traditional 12-week internship in an Adobe office. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop high-performance, reliable, testable, well documented, and maintainable components and services for our platform on both Back End and Front End. Provide ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements for the live platform. Work with partners to translate requirements into technical design and provide estimates. Evaluate and make recommendations on technologies to improve the usability, performance, and reliability of our platform. Work well both independently and collaboratively within a fast-moving development team, with clear, positive, and constructive communication. Grow with the support of your team and help others on the team grow by providing thoughtful feedback and uplifting those around you. What You Need to Succeed To apply, you must be enrolled in your university's engineering program with a target graduation date between December 2024 - May 2025. Students who apply should be leaders on campus and show academic excellence. Your university must permit you to participate in an internship that takes place both during and after the academic year (there is a spring and summer session). You must be able to be physically present in an Adobe office location for the duration of the summer internship.Proficient in Microservices Architecture / Web Infrastructure / REST Proficient in JavaScript, NodeJS, ExpressJS on the backend and React, Redux on the Front End Proficient in styling web pages using CSS and related frameworks such as Material UI. Experience with load testing, troubleshooting, and optimizing performance of web services. Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies Familiar with Code Repositories (Git) Analytical Problem-Solving Skills Proven computer science fundamentals Foundational solid skills in Typescript/JavaScript, Component Building & Organizing, Separation of concerns. Good communication skills Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $45.00 -- $55.00 hourly.
