Technical SpecialistDescription -What a Technical Specialist does in HPPerform scheduled and unscheduled equipment maintenance based on Reliability Centered Maintenance approach.Lead equipment reliability programs to improve equipment up-time.Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals for troubleshooting or parts replacement.Perform troubleshooting on the control system, from sensors all the way to the PLCs.Coordinate repair works with OEM technical support per safety and quality protocols.Optimize spares inventory balancing between availability and holding cost.Implement Kaizen projects to improve productivity/Smart Manufacturing, quality, safety and reduce cost.Effectively communicate equipment reliability issues, root cause analysis and corrective or preventive actions.Characterize process output parameters with respect to equipment performance.Individuals who will do well in this role usually possesDiploma in Mechanical / Electronics /Electrical / Mechatronic EngineeringSome working experience in a manufacturing environmentHave a basic understanding on automation, robotics systems, electricals diagram, motors, power supplies, filtration, pumps and valves operating principles.Competent on analytical problem solving, statistical methods and process control Independent, self-driven and able to work well in a team setting.Able and willing to undergo knowledge-transfer training with equipment suppliers.Sustainable impact is HP’s commitment to create positive, lasting change for the planet, its people, and our communities.
