Project ManagerDescription -The Project Manager is part of our HP Professional Services organization dedicated to project and change management. We provide our customers with an outcome-based experience focused on business enablement and enhanced security through the implementation of HP Solutions. HP enables efficiency gains and increased productivity through digitization and workflow integration, while reducing cost through fleet and infrastructure optimization.Project managers are responsible for all aspects of the project life cycle: project initiation, execution, project monitoring and control, and project closure. Ensure that projects are managed with assertive and collaborative communication between different areas, as well as the delivery of results and tasks on time, problem-solving ability, and knowledge of the printing services business.Responsibilities: Contributions have major impact on HP business (Cost, Efficiency, TCE) generally over $1Musd.Works on complex projects where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors.Manages projects affecting three or more organizations.Coordinates and integrates the work efforts and deliverables of a large multi-function project team.Manages projects with often aggressive but achievable stakeholder deadlines.Manages project financials including business impact.Manages complex multi-function and/ or global relationships with senior and executive stakeholder management.Routinely called upon to mediate difficult situations that have a significant business impact.Manages internal as well as external resources with a team size generally greater than 5 people or more.Establishing and ensuring that appropriate TTM processes are used/followed (such as reporting, risk management, lessons learned, quality, escalating, communications etc.) as listed in the SOW.Managing the Transition program for all HP functions (MS, HR, Procurement etc) and co-ordinates all the PMO internal and external project activities.Leading the overall Transition/Transformation team during Pursuit and/or Transition/Transformation phases of the deal.Assisting in acquiring staff and material resources for the Transition/Transformation programs and associated projects.Ensuring that all Transition/Transformation Project Plans are consistent, congruent, and integrate with the overall Deal Project Plan and customer Transition/Transformation plans. Lead and manage the execution of the Project Plans.Supporting the Sales team of Transition/Transformation projects in developing each project's scope of work, estimates, schedule and risk.Education and Experience Required: Has 3+ years Project Management experience.Typically has background in ITPreferred to have Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.Must have an Undergraduate Degree.
