An exciting time to get involved!Job Description:As a Staff UI Engineer at Flexera, you will take a leadership role in our UI team, utilizing your extensive level of experience with React and TypeScript to create world-class user interfaces for our web applications. You will play a pivotal role in contributing to our UI architecture, mentoring team members, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that our applications deliver top-notch user experiences.Your Responsibilities:Contribute to and drive UI architecture and design systems, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and high performance of our applications.Overseeing testing and quality assurance processes to identify and address issues relate to ui functionality, performance, and cross browser compatibility.Use your expertise to define an ambitious technical roadmap for UI.Prove your creativity by working alongside product owners and designers to identify and prototype new use cases and featuresDemonstrate your passion and skill in the design and construction of beautiful, robust and secure UI applicationsWork in CD environments to continuously deploy features and support AWS infrastructure. Lead by example and mentor team of front-end developers, working collaboratively with back-end developers, designers, testers and stakeholdersBecome familiar with current emerging trends, and contribute to, all aspects of Flexera engineering products, documentation, and best practices.Confidently promote our team’s principles and culture across the organisationTo be successful a staff UI engineer you will need to have some (if not all) of the following attributes:Advanced skill level in modern JS Framework (React preferred, Angular desirable)Expert knowledge of TypeScript, ECMAScript 2023 & build toolsA proven and respected engineer with 8+ years’ experience in the delivery of successful applications at impressive scale.High experience in business analysis to communicate comfortably with product, engineering, and UX.High experience in the implementation of secure and responsive web applicationsHigh regard for maintaining test quality of Unit and E2E testsExpert Knowledge level of accessibility and performance testingExperience building progressive web appsComfortable with modern SCM for various types of development life cycleFamiliarity with AWS infrastructure and build pipelines.
