With over 250 datacentres spanning across 5 continents, we are home of the Cloud, supporting over 1000+ Cloud and IT services companies that are directly engaged in technological innovation and development.We are passionate about further evolving the specific areas of software development, software and network architecture, network operations, and complex cloud and application solutions.What you will be doing?Installations:Shadow Senior Technicians to learn aspects of Customer Installations.Queue ManagementLearn about managing and assigning activities through CRM systems with emphasis on meeting strict customer SLAs.Assist certified IBX Technicians in installing Cross-Connects over multiple platforms using various media types.Documentation/Reporting:Understand the importance of maintaining paper and electronic records for all work activities.Understand the importance of delivery management in an IBX environment.Assist logistics specialists in receiving and managing incoming and outgoing packages.Projects:Learn about managing small to medium sized customer projects using various tools such as MS-Project, Gantt Charts.Training:Completing all assigned training in a timely mannerCustomer Management:Appreciate the importance of fulfilling customer activities in timely and precise manner.Shadow customer management teams to manage complex customer queries.Operational SupportOperating and coordinating incoming and outgoing deliveries, both for internal and external customers, providing prompt and efficient responses and explaining on-site procedures.This also includes goods lift supervision during deliveriesAssists IBX Technician with Lifting equipment to be utilized where necessaryEnsuring health & safety policy is followed and escalates any issuesDatacentre Maintenance:Appreciate the importance of maintaining and cleaning the site to a suitably professional levelUnderstand waste management requirements, policies and responsible waste disposal methods.To be successful in this role you will have:Essential:Computer-literacy / IT skills (email, internal systems, Internet etc.)Overall baseline computerknowledge and familiarity (Window Platform)Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)An interest in the datacentre industryCan do, positive attitudeStrong desire to learnGood listening skillsDesirable:Knowledge of Datacentre or mission-critical environmentsExperience in Customer Service / Operation Centres / Datacentres / Warehouses / Logistics /Asset ManagementWhat We Offer:The opportunity to leave your mark on a company that is growing quickly and still manages to keep a pioneer spirit.
