We embrace diversity in thought and contribution and are committed to providing an equitable work environment that is foundational to our core values as a company and is vital to our success.Responsible for supporting and developing operational security and compliance system for our Western Cluster (Perth and Adelaide), you will be reporting into the Director, supported by the Compliance team nationally, but your key partner will be our Equinix onsite teams and management.We are looking for someone is an excellent communicator, with strong compliance and/or auditing experience and proactive in their approach to assess needs, prioritise workloads and work accordingly in relation to physical, electronic and all compliance and security needs. The role offers hybrid working conditions Monday-Friday but there is an expectation the successful applicant will be visible to colleagues, contractors, guards and all stakeholders internal and external - ensuring you build positive relationships with those around you.Key Responsibilities:ProcessLeads physical security and business continuity rollouts, including compliance programsLikely to run smaller process rollouts, less sophisticated, and with fewer stakeholdersMay participate in some cross-functional teams to review security and business continuity processes within the IBX, refine or make suggestions for continuous improvement and support implementation of changes; ensures process adherenceProject ManagementContributes and participates in process improvement projectsLeads tasks within some cross-functional projectsPlans, coordinates and monitors project steps from start to completion (e.g. sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, monitors and summarizes progress of project, conducts meetings)Support to Data CenterAnalyzes key performance indicators and proposes improvement recommendations to standardize/improve processesProvides day to day support to multiple data center's, and may be responsible for Operations Security & ComplianceCompliance, Audit Support and Data ManagementAddresses assigned audit findings and tracks them to closureSupports customer audits, RFPs and RFIsConducts and compiles data for management reportingTrainingReviews and develops content for training materialsConducts security training for all sites in scope within the scheduleIdentifies training needs for stakeholdersResponsible for regular and ad-hoc training (for example, new hire training)Develops industry knowledgeQualifications, skills and attributes:Hold an Australian National Security clearance of NV1 or aboveDesired - Auditor experience associated with IOSO27001 and 22301Outstanding interpersonal skills to take care of stakeholders in all business unitsHigh level of communication both verbal and written and experience working with and managing teams and vendorsExperience in designing and delivering security training programsA minimum 5 years’ experience of working within a mission critical facility, or similarA minimum 5 years’ experience undertaking compliance auditsExperience in interpreting legislation and developing commensurate documentation that ensure complianceBenefits of the role:Join a growing Compliance Operations team as they become even more integral to the Australian businessHighly autonomous role allowing you to achieve success and company goals accordinglySalary package including company shares, annual bonus, healthcare or health allowanceAccess to 100’s of company, wellness and consultative company benefitsEquinix is an equal opportunity employer.
