Job Requisition ID #23WD74309Position Overview The Senior Sales Manager of AEC Named Accounts leads a team of Named Account Sales Executives focused on a subset of our AEC customers domestically and globally. Your team's charter is developing direct, trusting Customer relationships that deliver impactful customer outcomes, loyalty, and growth. You will provide direction to your direct reports and extended team members in pursuit of business and financial objectives.   You will report to the Senior Director of AEC Named Accounts. This position is remote in the United States.Responsibilities Manage and facilitate the team’s execution of the sales strategy for assigned AEC named accountsAchieve assigned financial targets by guiding team to develop existing named accounts through a direct sales modelHave in-depth grasp of the business and deliver accurate sales forecastsEncourage team members to develop sales pipelineLead sales of the entire Autodesk portfolio to end customers, including software, subscription, consulting and supportProvide guidance on customer-facing account planning and coach direct reports to improve their plansLead the team of direct reports and their extended account teams to develop new opportunities within assigned accountsEngage and inspire team members to look at near and long-term vision of the accounts and AEC industry, while formulating the appropriate account strategyCoordinate, influence, and orchestrate all appropriate resources for account and opportunity development.Lead the activities of sales team, including hiring, developing talent, team culture and performance management with broader AEC Named Account Sales organizationMaintain relationships with Autodesk’s senior leadershipProvide customer feedback and influence product, industry, and strategy teamsBe able to build a global/virtual team (sales, support and consulting)Develop working relations across GEOs and teams (finance, operations, legal, etc.) Contribute to Autodesk & immediate team, outside of assigned Account(s)  Minimum Qualifications 10+ years strategic sales experience in the software industry5+ years of sales management experience (with direct reports) in the software industry or equivalent demonstrated team leadership (with no direct reports)Industry experience in Architecture-Engineering-Construction or related SaaS industriesExperienced in leading strategic plans in a matrixed environmentExperienced working with all seniority levels, internally and externally including C-suiteProven sales record in quota carrying roles with large enterprises, managing a pipeline as an individual contributor and over a teamStrong sales and account planning process (Target Account selling, Value Based Selling, Situational Sales Negotiation, or similar methodologies)Adept in driving multi-year plans for long-term growthLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based sales roles, we expect a starting On-Target Earnings (OTE) between $217,200 and $314,270. OTE is comprised of base salary plus commission target for sales roles. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location and may exceed this range.
