Senior Manager, Venture Finance

The GPU has also proven to be unbelievably effective at solving some of the most complex problems in computer science.NVIDIA is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager, Venture Finance to join the M&A finance team! The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in venture capital accounting, financial analysis, and reporting, coupled with strong technical accounting knowledge of measurement alternative application. Familiarity with IHS portfolio reporting tools and valuation models, including the back solve option pricing model, would be a significant plus. Individual contributor will be responsible for all aspects of financial management for our portfolio of venture investments. This role will partner closely with our Corporate Development and NVentures teams to support investment decisions and portfolio management.What You'll Be Doing:Perform financial diligence over potential portfolio companiesIdentify and manage financial risks (including performing impairment analysis)Support investment decisions and portfolio managementManage overall accounting compliance of the portfolio and investmentsImplement and maintain SOX controls investmentsPrepare and present internal and external financial reporting for NVIDIA's venture investmentsWhat we need to see:Undergraduate degree in Finance/Accounting w/active CPA license or equivalent experience7+ overall years of experience in venture capital accounting, financial diligence and/or a related field2+ years of people management experienceStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent executive communication and presentation skillsTechnical accounting knowledge of measurement alternative applicationWays To Stand Out From The Crowd:Familiarity with IHS and various valuation models, including the back solve option pricing modelExperience in corporate venture capitalNVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
