Our team designs validation, reference and production boards using Broadcom SOCs.An ideal candidate is a proven self-starter who:Has outstanding organizational skills and attention to detailOut of the box problem solver that takes initiative on debugging issuesIs a team leader with excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communicationAbility to multitask in a fast paced environmentKey Qualifications:BS or MS Electrical Engineering or equivalent8-10 yrs of experience as a Hardware Systems Design EngineerExperience in taking a complex PCB system design through the entire H/W development cycle (specification, schematics, PCB layout, bring-up, characterization and compliance testing)Knowledge of power integrity concepts (PDN design, transient response, etc.)Knowledge of signal integrity concepts (insertion/return loss, crosstalk, BGA breakout, etc.)Proficient in system bring-up, characterization and debugging complex embedded systemsExperience with high speed board design (25/50/100G SERDES channel links)Proficient with DxDesigner/OrCad and Cadence Allegro software toolsExperience working with ODMs and OEMs overseasExperience working with PCB and PCA suppliers.Proficient with high speed oscilloscopes, bus and network analyzers.Understanding of PCIe, DDR, USB, SPI, and I2C interfacesAbility to work with cross functional teams (ASIC, DVT, Sysops, S/W, AE, Mechanical)Additional Job Description:Compensation and BenefitsThe annual base salary range for this position is $106,800 - $178,000 This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
