This is a remote position that could be based anywhere in the United States or Canada. Calix SmartTown helps service providers unite on-the-go communities of people with a private, secure, and safe Wi-Fi experience that drives customer loyalty and new business opportunities for service providers and their business customers. We are looking for a hands-on Senior Manager, Product Marketing to drive Calix growth in Wi-Fi solutions in the community. This role is responsible for positioning and marketing programs for broadband service providers globally. You will partner with a wide array of Calix teams to define and market solutions that combine platforms, software, systems, customer support, services, and success teams. The ideal candidate is an experienced marketing professional and solutions evangelist who thrives on the challenge of leading companies into new business opportunities.Responsibilities and Duties:Partner with Corporate Marketing, Product, Services, Success, and Sales teams to create compelling multi-dimensional solutions that deliver exceptional value to broadband service providers and their communitiesWork with industry groups, partner alliances, and government agencies to reinforce the benefits of community Wi-Fi applications for education and public safety and build a path forward for Calix BSPs to bring connectivity to the communities they serveDevelop a comprehensive marketing plan for Calix SmartTown deployment applicationsWorking with the Calix Partners team, develop and maintain an alliance of SmartTown service providers, establishing roaming and network sharing agreements, joint marketing, and community building effortsDrive the creation of compelling collateral, ranging from webpages, solution briefs, white papers, blogs, and presentations.Create recommended best practices and go-to-market business models for BSP successProduce sales enablement materials for our global sales force.Create and present presentations to customers and industry events.Required Qualifications:10-15 years of relevant solution/product marketing experienceExperience marketing solutions to broadband service providers or working with commercial Wi-Fi providersThorough understanding of marketing and launch processes for hardware and softwareAbility to grasp and translate technical capabilities into clear benefits is crucialStrong written communication and public speaking/presentation skillsExperience working in a geographically distributed teamDemonstrated track record of success in a fast paced, collaborative work environmentPeriodic bursts of travel up to 20% of timeLocation:Remote-based position located in the United States or Canada#LI-RemoteCompensation will vary based on geographical location (see below) within the United States.
