Apple Services Engineering Architecture team is seeking an Engineering Leader to provide day-to-day management, execution oversight, technical leadership and vision for systems, software and architecture focused on Digital Supply Chain ingestion & processing architecture, data architecture, data processing pipelines & workflow orchestration. Successful candidate will lead a highly talented, diverse engineering team experienced in various software technologies. You will participate in setting the technology vision, manage day-to-day development & execution, while leading and mentoring several software development teams. We are seeking a passionate leader who can drive solutions from product definition to release. We are specifically seeking someone who aligns with the Apple’s inclusive culture and can connect & collaborate with peers, employees and other teams at Apple while executing large-scale programs and organizational vision. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Deep, hands-on technical knowledge of software development specifically for online media services Operational experience with web-scale infrastructure on public cloud deployments (AWS, Kubernetes, S3) Experience with Agile software development Strong reasoning ability, both analytic and strategic Track record of creativity, solving unusually hard problems and transfer of software development into real products at scale Clear and persuasive communicator (both spoken and written) with outstanding presentation skills 15+ years of relevant engineering leadership and domain experience Description Description Lead and grow engineering teams passionate about software architecture & building platform services for partners across the Digital Supply Chain Engineering organization and Apple. Build credibility as a world-class technical leader and establish a working relationship and trust with Directors and Senior Directors, Vice Presidents, multi-functional engineering peers, engineering teams, commercial colleagues, and external technology partners. Responsible for the development of turnkey software, which is part of a larger organization wide legacy migration to a services-based architecture. Develop the capabilities and leadership skills of engineering managers and engineers within the team. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $242,700 and $364,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
