That’s why we’re a leader in next-generation cybersecurity.The Role As a Senior Deals Desk, Renewals Specialist, you will support the Renewal Sales team by proactively quoting and reviewing customer renewal business with accuracy and completeness. This role calls for working collaboratively with Sales touching on various pricing techniques and strategies to ensure competitive and profitable company pricing targets. Your critical thinking and self-motivation will help you succeed in this role.Your day-to-day Be a primary contact to the Renewal Sales team for all topics relating to renewal quotes and pricing requirements.Format and calculate all renewal quotes in Excel, and input and approve quotes within the CPQ tool.Responsible for in-depth review and understanding of customer accounts, leveraging data within SFDC and contracts drive.Successfully communicate with the Renewal Sales team on non-standard and/or complex renewal quotes to ensure completeness of account information.Apply knowledge of pricing dynamics, customer trends, and target margins when evaluating price points.Work cross-functionally with all departments that may have a direct impact on renewal quotes to ensure renewal, audit, and company guidelines and expectations are followed.Evaluate and escalate renewal quote requests outside of standard price thresholds.Manage and track renewal quotes to ensure the team’s standard SLAs are met.Understand Proofpoint’s products and internal processes to best support the Renewals Sales team.Partaking in ad hoc projects, as instructed.What you bring to the teamExperience working in a Deal Desk, Renewals, Sales Operations, or Revenue team preferredBachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience requiredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience with SFDC and Microsoft Office – able to create basic formulas in ExcelUnderstand SaaS and/or subscription-based contracts preferredAnalytical and enjoys working with numbersAbility to organise and prioritise, with focus on attention to detailWhy ProofpointProtecting people is at the heart of our award-winning cybersecurity solutions, and the people who work here are the key to our success.
