You will be the initial point of pricing escalations for your team’s territory, contributing to the company’s overall order management strategy. Whilst working collaboratively with a broad range of organizational stakeholders in Finance, Sales, Legal and the Product organizations, you will act as the day-to-day leader of the specialists reporting into you.This position is a prime opportunity for someone looking to grow their career as a people leader with an industry leading Cyber Security vendor.Your day-to-dayLeadership of an Order Management team including, mentorship, and performance managementMonitor individual workload and adjust if neededEnsure timely and accurate completion of team dutiesOversight and accountability to the Order Management team’s data integrity during the order entry processSupport defining the order management strategy and tools/business policy needs for both internal and external constituents.Establish, manage and report on key metrics and performance indicators for order processingAdhere to a same-day response commitment and have the flexibility to maintain inconsistent work flows (peak times vary by time of day and by time of quarter).Ensure timely follow up / resolution of outstanding issues and point of escalationEstablish and manage to key metrics and performance indicators for order processing.Perform annual and quarterly performance assessments on team members completing necessary documentation on a timely basisTrain team members on new programs or processes as required Support internal audit controls and SOX initiativesSupport additional projects as required.What you bring to the teamA great team leader with effective skills and ability to lead teams seamlessly through the order management processes as products and systems evolve.Energetic, motivated self-starter with a proven track record of leading a Deals Desk, Order Management or Sales Support team – Software/SaaS background is a plus.Excellent interpersonal skills and team player/leader capabilities across multiple departmentsPossesses a talent for “free thought/out of the box”, solution-oriented thought processCPQ experience preferred along with subscription and install base knowledge of customer master data with a solid understanding of SAAS provisioning process, and license delivery requirementsProficiency with SFDC or other CRM ERPTime and detail oriented individual who understands the importance of being organisedExcellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to effectively work with internal customers and supervise staff.Thrives in a fast-paced environmentWhy ProofpointProtecting people is at the heart of our award-winning cybersecurity solutions, and the people who work here are the key to our success.
