That’s why we’re a leader in next-generation cybersecurity.The RoleThe Technical Project Manager will facilitate the Agile-driven design, development, and delivery of our market-leading security training and assessment software. Our goal is to help organisations teach their employees secure behaviour through interactive web applications, and the Technical Project Manager role is an important piece of the puzzle when it comes to our ability to incrementally, predictably, and reliably add value for our growing customer base. Your day-to-dayWork closely with the Technical Project Management team and Development leadership, and Product leadership to define and manage our Agile processes Serve as the scrum master/project manager for multiple teams/projects Run daily standups, retrospectives, sprint demos, etc. Lead sprint planning and estimation meetings Facilitate backlog grooming Coach and enable others to function as scrum masters/project managers Implement metrics to measure and improve team performance as it relates to reducing lead time and meeting delivery dates Educate the development teams on Agile best practices Work closely with Product Management, Development, Quality Assurance, and Customer Support to incorporate the right mix of features, improvements, and bug fixes into each sprint What you bring to the teamExperience of working in an Agile development environment with direct experience as a scrum master or Agile team lead Proven ability to manage projects from inception to completion by working closely with and driving deliverables for resources who are not direct reports Experience introducing change into existing software development processes Proven ability to define, implement, and measure the effectiveness of process-related improvements Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively interact with all areas of the company and all levels of management Meticulous attention to detail Agile development training Why ProofpointProtecting people is at the heart of our award-winning cybersecurity solutions, and the people who work here are the key to our success.  We’re a customer-focused and driven-to-win organisation with leading-edge products.
