You will be responsible for the creation, maintenance and expanding the existing automated regression suites to support ongoing Product Development for software releases. Additionally, they must be able to devise test cases from requirements, perform exploratory testing and write and execute automated regression tests.You will have experience of working effectively within Agile teams, with developers and product owners, to decompose user stories/requirements and write automated tests at the Business logic, Contract, and User Interface levels. They must be able to handle multiple assignments and tasks simultaneously. They must be able to estimate the time and resources required for testing and demonstrate a proven ability to complete software testing effectively within the established schedules.Your day to dayLearn the assigned product functionality and integration with other products quicklyAnalyse product requirements and develop test plans and test casesPerform both manual exploratory testing and automated regression testingMaintain and reuse existing tests and create tests for new requirementsEvaluate lower level test coverage to determine QA automation tests on new and current featuresUtilize system tools to diagnose and fully document test failures, identifying the source of the failure and providing steps to reproduceReview and reproduce product defects that are reported by customers before corrections are delivered for testingReview and validate tests written by Developers and other QA membersReport status to QA and Dev Management regularlyPossibly coordinate the testing done by others or assist in that coordinationParticipate in Agile sprint planning, stand-ups and retrospective meetingsWhat you bring to the teamExperience in Software QA and in Test AutomationExperience working with teams during the design and implementation phases to develop the best test approach incorporating the appropriate level of testing while understanding test coverageComprehensive knowledge of modern browsers, operating systems, and user interface testing techniquesAutomation experience using Java or other object-oriented programming languageExperience with CI/CD pipeline, Amazon EKS, API testing and SQL testing is a plusLogical approach to verifying product requirementsWhy ProofpointProtecting people is at the heart of our award-winning cybersecurity solutions, and the people who work here are the key to our success.  We’re a customer-focused and driven-to-win organisation with leading-edge products.
