With opportunities in all functions, we offer many exciting reasons to join our team.The Role The Partner Manager will be a crucial part of the Global Partner Organization to drive engagement across stakeholder groups within Proofpoint’s partner ecosystem to further the success of our partner community.As AMER PS Partner Manager, you will engage and work with our most strategic partners that deliver professional services to customers for our existing Proofpoint Enterprise solutions. As AMER PS Partner Manger, you will enable the services strategy of our managed partners.You will coordinate with Sales, Product, Legal, Finance and Operations to fulfil engagements through our partners. You will develop deep and lasting relationships with our partners’ services delivery teams, and help our enterprise customers maximize their value on cloud and on-prem, building on the partner and customer knowledge.You will own the shared roadmaps to co-deliver services to our customers where applicable.This is an exciting opportunity to help design and build new Partner Certification Program for our top partners and support other key partner-facing initiatives. This role reports to the EMEA Professional Services Director and will work closely with the Global Partner Manager and the Global Marketing and Channel Teams.Your day-to-day Own and manage the delivery of Professional Services engagements through partnersEnsure that Customer Satisfaction, Churn and Best Practice are a focus for all engagementsWork with the Sales and Channel managers globally to engage the right partners for deliveryAssist and advise the Channel Teams with the identification, onboarding, costs, and enablement of new partners, based on project needs and missing competenciesFoster positive relationships with our Partners as their primary point of contact at ProofpointOversee Partner Certification, including:Onboarding discussionsMonitoring and assessment of progress (program view)Governance meetings with the Partner TeamScheduling of Engagement Consultants to review/remediate and authorise progress to dateScheduling of any webinars, skills transfer sessions as requiredReview of NPS ?Monitor feedback on our certification program and curriculum, and use this to evolve, identify gaps and improve the process or content accordinglyWork alongside the Director, driving, collaboration and advocacy in the PS group by meeting with content stakeholders to:Identify next Self Start EPIC journeys (as dictated by the Business Needs)Identify gaps in contentEvolve content and documentation based on Partner feedbackProvide feedback to the Partner Certification Roadmap as requiredCollaborate with the Global Partner Communications Team ? to ensure the Partner Program and strategic initiatives are represented in all upcoming partner-facing and PFPT communicationsEnsure that CDP ? contract terms and conditions are clear and understood by the PartnersHelp to manage invoices and bills sent from PartnersWhere applicable, work with Partner on the co-delivery model:Identifying requirements which fall outside of Partner’s skill setWorking on upsell and cross-sell opportunitiesPrepare reports on partner performanceMeet formally with Partners once a quarter to reviewKPIsCertification (based on Partner Banding)Manage partner badging initiative to help recognize partner organizations and individuals for their PFPT achievementsManagement (matrix) of Engagement Consultants toReview and assess progress to dateRemediate where applicableScoping/Custom work assessmentWhat you bring to the teamSolid industry experience in a customer-facing technical field such as professional services, sales engineering, or project management in an IT organisation.A solid business acumen in a commercial partner-led SAAS environmentStrong negotiation and relationship-building skills in partner contextExperience drafting, editing and finalising SOWs and partner documentationCritical situation management skills in a rapid-paced environmentExperience of large systems design and project implementation for enterprise email environments.Broad technical knowledge of Messaging Architecture, Internet Protocols and technologiesA reasonable understanding of Internet protocols and how they work, particularly HTTP, SMTP, IMAP, RFC822, LDAP, PKI;Understanding of networking topology, TCP/IP protocol, network configuration and components (firewalls, routers, etc.);Sendmail OR Email messaging infrastructure system administration experience is nice-to-haveAbility to communicate effectively at all levels of a customer/partner organization;Additional languages would be advantageous (French/Spanish/Italian/German).Why Proofpoint  We are wholly devoted to helping our customers protect their greatest assets and biggest security risk: their people.
