Define overall implementations testing strategy and developing test plans/test cases. Identify appropriate tools, testing methodology, automation approach Propose new approaches to achieve product goals and timelines with quality in a cost-effective manner Responsible for executing manual/automated tests and reporting defects with the help of QE team members Work closely with Development managers’, and developers in ensuring high quality deliverables. Meet customer requirements: proactively propose solutions and resolve project dependencies within scope of influence. Should be hands-on whenever required involving automation of both UI and API and maintain the CI/CD environment. Manage through setting and delivering on expectations: set goals that are achievable and measurable, monitor and trend possible changes and set expectations of stakeholders/customers on final deliverable Mentor and coach junior QE resources. Provide them direction, training and guidance on a continuous basis Exposure to performance testing and vulnerability assessment activities of complex applications and mobile applications/devices Develop/Publish meaningful metrics to reflect the true status of any given Product/Solution Foster and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and business partners Own and drive testing including automation strategy design, requirements understanding, test planning, test script development, test execution, results analysis and sign off. Ability to create / optimize automation framework to increase efficiency and productivity. Prepare Reusable functions, which improve the robustness, re-usability, and maintainability of their test scripts. Assess and bring improvements to the quality of our applications and services Adapt to changing environments as needed Minimum 9+ Years of Relevant Experience in testing Domain. Previous working experience as a QE white box tester for 6+ years. Bachelors in computer information systems, Management Information Systems or similar relevant field Preferably from BSFI, Fintech, Payments, Lending background In-depth knowledge of application development processes and at least one programming language preferably Java Knowledge on BDD, TDD, continuous integration, and code review practice is preferred Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process Expertise in Agile tools like Jira Hands on experience with testing frameworks both licensed and Open sources for UI and API automation. Hands on experience on Performance Testing using any tools (Jmeter/Gatling) or any other relevant tool.
