Operations Specialist, Executive ProtectionDescription -The Operations Specialist is an integral position within HP Inc.'s Executive Protection program, reporting to the Director of Executive Protection.  This position supports HP Inc.'s team of Executive Protection Advisors by enabling them to make important decisions regarding the safety and logistical efficiency of HP's executives.  The Operations Specialist also interfaces with senior executive support staff to ensure the Executive Protection team provides a catered, end-to-end experience to each supported executive and their respective Executive Assistants (EA).  A successful candidate must have exceptional written and oral communications skills, be a self-starter, a fast learner, and be a highly motivated user of digital tools to accomplish objectives.  Like all Executive Protection professionals, the successful candidate will have a security mind, a servant’s drive to execute, and an orator's ability to converse at a high level. This candidate will be a conduit between the Executive Protection Team, their stakeholders, internal HP teams, and the contractors they will use to fulfill their promise to HP Inc.       Responsibilities: Digitally organize and maintain the Executive Protection Team's Trip metrics, budgetary metrics, trip records, Security Policies, and external vendor contracts. Use internal purchasing applications, written, and verbal communications in the furtherance of the Executive Protection Team's security/intelligence vendor relationship management. Service HP Inc.’s C-suite and Board of Directors through coordination with administrative staff and the application of appropriate Executive Protection Team and contract security assets. Effectively use and be a hungry learner of the Microsoft Office suite and SharePoint. Ability to learn, navigate, and present products to stakeholder from multiple digital private intelligence/security/mapping tools in support of Executive Protection objectives. Work with HP Inc.'s internal aviation team, C-suite executive assistants, Office of the CEO, purchasing entities, special events team, physical security team, and global resiliency to further the objectives set forth by the Director of Executive Protection. Develop security plans, travel to foreign and domestic locations, and execute security plans in support of special events involving multiple Executive Protection C-suite members.  Manage, publish, and aide in the execution of Executive Protection's emergency response procedures. Conduct periodic checks of Executive Protection’s residential security program, apply contract support for deficiencies, and communicate your progress to the Director of Executive Protection and the applicable Executive Assistant(s).   Minimum Qualifications   Bachelor's degree in any discipline. 5+ years in a security-related field. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating system, iOS or Android mobile operating system, the Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft SharePoint, and various internet technologies. Ability to construct grammatically appropriate and professional documents and e-mails. Ability to synthesize date and create process and priceure improvements to advocate for the business needs of the program. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders at all levels. Strategic thinking with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of identifying and addressing program challenges effectively. Ability to travel up to 30%. Experience managing vendors to drive operational improvements and iteration, such as contracts and KPI’s. Demonstrated success in full-cycle management of high stakes and complex cross functional projects. Global scale experience with security and executive logistics management, as well as pre-operational planning. Knowledge and Skills: Sound, ethical judgment required. Strong leadership skills, including coaching, mentoring and teaching. Superior ability to use security systems and applications. Excellent analytical skills. Ability to identify complex security issues and customize, implement/execute innovative processes and solutions. Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure in complex situations. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, including presentation, reporting and consulting. Thorough knowledge of criminal and civil procedure as it relates to evidence, privacy, interviewing, breach of contract, fraud, supply chain and intellectual property protection. Proven "customer service" and relationship management skills. Excellent project management skills, including planning, execution, and implementation. Abreast of industry and technology changes to ensure security programs minimize emerging risks. Established range of professional contacts. The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is $117,900 - $181,550 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
