Ready to be a Titan?ServiceTitan is looking for a Cloud Operations Engineer with experience working with global teams, supporting SaaS applications, distributed cloud infrastructure, and being part of a world-class Cloud Operations team. ServiceTitan’s growing customer base and cloud infrastructure is supported 24/7 by the Cloud Operations team. As a Cloud Operations Engineer, you will help improve our response to alerts, manage escalations, triage technical software problems, and be an integral part of our incident response protocol. Our goal is to provide premium uptime to our customers and improve the meantime to repair all incidents. You will be part of a globally distributed team to accomplish these goals.What You'll Do:Monitor and troubleshoot internal and external services used by ServiceTitan SaaS applications.Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to resolve incidents and fulfill requests.Document, follow up and escalate incidents, requests and other daily activities.Work with tools, scripts and interfaces on a daily basis.Participate in shift rotations or in on-duty schedules.Analyze production and supporting tools outages, suggest and implement solutions.Identify areas of improvement in activities, suggest and implement solutions.Build automation tools for daily activities to eliminate operational toils.Build and improve monitoring, alerting and requests tracking tools.Coach and train other engineers.Efficiently collaborate with other ServiceTitan departments.What You'll Need:At least 3+ years of experience in operations or development environments or equivalent.Good English language reading, writing and verbal skills.Intermediate experience with operating systems: Windows Server or Linux.Intermediate experience with cloud platforms: Azure, AWS or GCP.Intermediate experience with monitoring and alerting tools: DataDog, Kibana, Nagios or Zabbix.Intermediate experience with scripting: Python, Bash or PowerShell.Intermediate experience with provisioning tools: Terraform, Vagrant, Packer or Ansible.Intermediate experience with CI/CD tools: GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins or TeamCity.Intermediate experience with databases: MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL or Oracle as a plus.Intermediate experience with virtualization platforms: VMWare, Hyper-V or VirtualBox as a plus.Intermediate experience with containerization: Docker, Kubernetes, AKS or EKS as a plus.Intermediate experience with serverless computing: Azure Functions or AWS Lambda as a plus.Intermediate experience with C# programming as a plus.Intermediate understanding of frameworks: ITIL, DevOps or SRE is a plus.Be Human With Us:Being human isn’t about checking every box on a list.
