Overview
Reporting to the Director of IT, located in New York, the IT Manager - Europe is a Paris based role and will be responsible for IT Service Delivery for all our European offices and employees. Our key offices in the region are Paris, Berlin, and Ghent. A successful candidate in this role will be proactive and have an outgoing personality to effectively address IT challenges and engage with end-users.
Responsibilities include managing technology infrastructure, security, and deployment, supporting innovation, understanding IT trends, and influencing enterprise-wide decisions. This strategic position is crucial for maintaining an efficient IT environment, ensuring operational excellence, and contributing to the organization's success.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead IT operations, support and performance for Europe-based offices. Ensure team members (1 full-time employee in London and 2 contractors based in Helsinki) follow all processes and policies; monitor and evaluate service performance.
Assessing the current technology infrastructure and identifying areas that need improvement or modernization in order to support the company’s goals.
Overseeing procurement and delivery of new and replacement hardware.
Tracks inventory and status for hardware and software throughout the organization, including appropriate licensing levels.
Manage and maintain the company’s conference systems and AV infrastructure.
Communicate and follow-up with employees to gather information, gain feedback, and create successful outcomes.
Ensures IT-related projects and tasks are completed within specifications and on time.
Develop tools and solutions to increase the operational efficiency of the IT Service management process with a focus on excellent user experience.
Ensure the local codes and legal compliance associated with each facility are being adhered to.
Train staff, evaluate employee performance, and recommend promotions and disciplinary actions
Identifies and recommends upgrades and changes to hardware and software, maintaining efficient and effective operations in the organization.
Overseeing and managing daily support through a ticketing system, diagnosing and troubleshooting Mac/PC laptop hardware issues, and overseeing the provisioning and deprovisioning of company laptops and IT equipment.
Play a key role in the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth integration into the IT environment and conducting training sessions to equip new employees with the necessary IT knowledge and tools.
Collaborate with third-party support and Mac/PC equipment vendors to address technical issues and optimize services.
Contribute to the department knowledge base and procedural documentation as the team evolves and processes change
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
8+ years of IT and business/industry work experience. 4+ years of experience in managing cross-functional teams
Proven experience in IT management, preferably in a multinational environment.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure and emerging technologies.
Experience with supporting and troubleshooting macOS and Windows OS - must
Experience with supporting Google Work Space, Okta, Jira - advantage
Experience with MDM solutions such as JAMF/WorkspaceONE - advantage
Experience in supporting video conferencing solutions - Must
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

Self-motivated individual with excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
Fluent in English – must!
Travel Requirement:
This role may require travel to key offices in the region monthly.
Annual travel to New York for strategic team meetings
