Summary Posted: Jan 8, 2024 Weekly Hours: 40 Role Number: 200532860 The Global Trade Compliance Program Manager role is based in Global Trade and works collaboratively across multiple departments as both a leader and a phenomenal teammate. This person will support Apple’s Global Trade classification program and lead global classification audits and identify root causes on any errors. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications 8 years’ proven work and project management experience in trade compliance, with progressive experience in classifications Experience with performing regional or global classification and duty analysis on products at an impactful organization Work independently to prepare summaries of regulatory analysis and applicability assessments while also collaborating with team members and regulatory experts. Experience collaborating with presenting to cross functional teams and leadership (Emails, Presentations, etc.) High curiosity about building out and improving upon processes and procedures Description Description - Conducts classification analysis to arrive at an accurate HTS by using various trade tools such as GRIs, CROSS rulings, WCO explanatory notes, and other classification tools. - Maintains & supervises previous part classifications in SAP-GTS to ensure consistent and valid tariff numbers. - Monitor, measure and develop reports with Key Performance Indicators - Performs global classification and duty analysis on Apple products. - Manages classification specific projects as assigned. - Builds and maintains process and procedures.
