This is an exciting opportunity, rich in analysis and playing a critical role in supporting strategic decision making. This role will report to the Head of Apple TV+ Finance and will contribute to the overall financial planning, analysis, and reporting for Apple TV+, Apple’s premium streaming service. The responsibilities for the role of Content Planning Analyst will include but are not limited to forecasting, analysis and reporting for content commitments and performance. Additionally, this role will play a key part in contributing to the greenlighting process. As this is a start-up initiative within Apple, the right person for this role will should be able to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment while juggling multiple priorities. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications 10+ years finance experience required, preferably within the entertainment industry Significant experience building complex modes through excel and other tools Experience with SAP, Essbase, Tableau and extensive working knowledge of Excel and Keynote preferred Demonstrated ability to take initiative, manage multiple projects, grasp new concepts, and problem solve Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Excellent oral and written communication skills with all levels of management Description Description - Build financial models for content costs and cashflow - Create monthly financial reports for operations - Collaborate on preparation of keynote presentations for executive team - Develop and report KPIs as it relates to content performance, subscriber acquisition, retention and engagement - Collaborate on greenlight process for original content working with Creative Development, Production, Business Affairs, and Production Finance - Build and maintain series and film ultimates for purposes of financial reporting, and planning in accordance with GAAP - Maintain appropriate controls within the planning and ultimate process as required by Sarbanes Oxley - Work with IS&T teams to implement financial systems - Drive process improvements - Partner on the monthly forecasting process for original content - Work through quarter close process managing the original content slate - Assist in ad hoc requests and projects Education & Experience Education & Experience Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics (or equivalent) MBA preferred Additional Requirements Additional Requirements Entertainment experience highly preferred Pay & Benefits Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $149,800 and $225,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
