We are looking for a Senior Software Automation and Manual QA Engineer to join our Storage team. This position will be part of the QA team while the main goal is to test the Storage and Networking area, which enables NVIDIA products to meet the industry-leading benchmarks of efficiency and quality. The ideal candidate will engage in testing of Storage and Networking drivers, be able to learn new features, execute manual and automated tests. What you'll be doing:Review arch design and requirements for new featuresDesign and execute tests for the new features, as part of software GA releasesWriting automation infrastructure in multiple frameworks (Python, Perl). Developing sophisticated, stable, automation frameworks to increase efficiency, re-usability, and flexibility. Enhancements & maintenance of each framework.Report bugs found during execution, assist with reproduction and debugs to understand root cause, verify bug fixes provided by the R&D team, raise if not fixedExecute tests in different scopes: regression, performance, functional, security. report the progress of testing and provide summary reports of testing activityDefine and build setups topologies for appropriate product coverageSchedule test runs, publish reports and analysis with detailed and specific bug reports for failuresWhat we need to see:5+ years of experience in the field of QA testingPractical / B.A. / B.Sc. in Computer Science or Electrical Engineer (or equivalent experience)3+ years of Hands-on experience with PythonKnowledge in Storage environments 3+ years of Hands-on experience with Linux systems and Networking environments Programming experience in Perl and BashIndependent, responsible worker, able to plan and executeClear verbal, proficient written and spoken EnglishTeam player with good communication and interpersonal skillsWays to stand out from the crowd:Knowledge in VirtualizationExperience in working with Traffic tools (FIO, DD etc)Hands-on experience with CI/CD and Test-Driven DevelopmentNVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
