DevOps Student

NVIDIA’s Networking Software Group is rapidly growing, and we are hiring an excellent software student to join the Switch Firmware DevOps team and to make a wide impact on the company products and teams worldwide. The role includes development of cutting edge design automation tools, build systems and continues integration systems.  With your help, our supportive and friendly team will be able to focus on more exciting programming tasks, better serving needs of our customers through new and improved CI processes. We work in a dynamic environment where multiple projects will be active at once and priorities may shift frequently.We are looking for hardworking student who aren’t afraid of taking up new technologies, processes, and tools to make constant improvement on the automation infrastructure. The student will collaborate closely with our software developers as well as performance analysts to build and improve the world-class automation infrastructure.What you’ll be doing:Develop and support CI processes of various products.Coordinate with various teams across the globe to promote and improve CI practices.Help to build services for effective and qualified development and release efforts.Working in a team with experience and great atmosphere.What we need to see:3rd year student Software Engineering / Computer Science / related field.Knowledge in Linux distribution installationDevelopment abilities in at least one scripting language: Python, Groovy, Perl or similarCoding and debugging skillsHigh ability to focus on task executionAgility and multitaskingTeam playerWays to stand out from the crowd:Expertise in Python or Groovy programmingSolid control of GIT SCMIt’s not just technology though!
